During last night - 3rd/4th October 2012 - the number of pages viewed on this Blog, now just 21 months old, passed the 25,000 mark . . . these from viewers in approximately seventy countries (those latter statistics another time).
Among those viewers was Carol Flood from the U.K.who discovered a long-lost relation, Jackie Kelly from Portlaw, the author of that short story - 'Those Were The Days' - posted online only last night.

The botanical name is: Lamprocapnos spectabilis (formerly Dicentra spectabilis)
