Just down the road from Portlaw, one can see the fine Kilmeadan Church of Ireland building, St. Mary's.
Regrettably, just now, I have no interior picture, but have seen it a few times in recent years, and can say it is in immaculate condition, thanks to the generosity of the late Mr. Ambrose Congreve,
who lived nearby at Mount Congreve,
currently one of the county's major tourist attractions.
I must say, the ultra-modern door looks very much out of keeping with such a period building!
Photograph especially for Natalie and her partner.
